We all have something we want to do but never quite start—or something we begin and leave unfinished. For me, one of those things was finishing this book.
It’s a short, slim book, and the ideas and techniques it offers are genuinely practical and effective. Yet sometimes, something inside us still gets in the way—not only of finishing something useful, but even of starting it.
And then comes one simple but firm decision:
“No. I have to do this.”
Sometimes, a decision like that is powerful enough to change everything.
For me, the turning point came during a trip, when I decided: “I’m going to finish this book while I’m here. No excuses.”
A busy daily routine can sometimes take away more opportunities than we realize. But even a short trip can become an opportunity—if you find the right excuse to finally do the thing you’ve been putting off.
Yes, you read that right: sometimes, find an excuse to do it.
We’re already very good at finding excuses not to do things—and clearly, that isn’t getting us anywhere.
“Eat That Frog!” helped me work through several challenges I had been facing. The book offers simple, clear, and genuinely actionable steps.
You just have to start.
One of the greatest gifts this book gave me was a clearer way of seeing my constraints—the things that slow me down—and understanding how to begin removing them.
It also offers valuable insights into how to stop delaying important work, become more precise in what you do, and develop real expertise through focus and action.
So yes, I highly, highly recommend reading this book.
We’ll be sharing some of its most valuable ideas through posts and articles here and across our social media platforms.
We’ll also record a short podcast to bring the core message of the book to life. 🎙️

And of course, we’d love to hear about the ugliest frogs you’ve ever had to eat—and what happened when you finally did. 😉
