Marriage Anniversary of Imam Ali & Lady Fatima in Baku
On the 28th of May, the Zahra Mag Co. team had the honor of organizing a heartfelt event in celebration of the blessed anniversary of the marriage of Hazrat Ali bin Abi-Talib (PBUH) and Hazrat Fatima (PBUH). The event took place in the sacred ambiance of Bibi-Heybat Holy Shrine in Baku, a place where the spirit of faith, love, and unity resonates deeply.
As part of the celebration, our team distributed sweets and greeting cards to the visitors as a gesture of joy and blessing, sharing the warmth of this sacred union with everyone who attended.
One of the most memorable and touching moments came with the presence of tourists from Spain and Brazil. While many of them were unfamiliar with Hazrat Fatima (PBUH), a special moment of recognition occurred when the name “Lady Fatima” was mentioned during our storytelling. Spanish visitors immediately connected the name to “Fátima,” the famous city in Portugal, which is known for the miraculous event associated with a figure called “Our Lady of Fatima.”
Upon hearing this, the tourists exclaimed in unison: “Ahh! We know her!” This spontaneous and heartfelt reaction created a beautiful moment of cultural and spiritual connection across religions and continents.
As we reflected on the values embodied by Hazrat Ali (PBUH) and Hazrat Fatima (PBUH)—love, loyalty, faith, and the pure essence of family—we prayed for all young people to experience relationships rooted in these divine ideals. Their union remains a timeless symbol of what marriage and life can be when guided by faith and mutual respect.
